AiMT is a refereed journal focusing on both the theoretical and practical aspects of military, defence and security technologies. The journal is intended to cover a broad spectrum of issues in research, development, design, manufacturing, control, exploitation, reliability, maintainability and effectiveness of technologies for military, defence and security.

Papers are sought in the theoretical domain as well as in such practical fields as industry and laboratory research. The journal is published semiannually, Jun and November. It is intended to bridge the gap between the theoretical experts and practitioners in the academic, scientific, government, and business communities.

The journal may present only original contributions, i.e. the ones that have not been published elsewhere, nor are currently under consideration in any other refereed journal. All contributions are refereed in "peer review" process by experts appointed by editorial board of AiMT journal. Contributions are published entirely in English language.
