Special Advanced Course 2011
This course is tailored to meet the particular needs of National Codification Bureaus (NCB) experienced in the reference type of item identification who need to train the personnel in the descriptive method of item identification and international date exchange. On the beginning of the course a short recapitulation of naming, classification and the reference method of item identification will be done.

Advanced Course 2011

The advanced course in the NATO Codification System (NCS) will provide the trainees with following knowledge and skills:

  • Deeper understanding of the basic principles and standards of the NCS
  • Detailed familiarity with procedures of descriptive item identifications
  • Maintenance of an item identification
  • International data exchange
  • Policy and methods of managing the NCS
  • New trends in the NCS
  • Practice in NATO Codification (with codification software MC CATALOGUE incl. the MCC eOTD module package)
