International Counter-Terrorism Cooperation – A Global View
Abstract:
This paper deals with international cooperation in the sphere of counterterrorism. This issue is presented through selected – and from the point of view of the authors the crucial - international organizations with world-wide scope of operation. It also includes a brief description scope of their activities within the war on terror. This overview presents mainly specific counterterrorist components of individual organizations (e.g. committees or working groups) and most important related conventions. However, primarily the presented analysis of international cooperation concentrates on the period after the attacks of September 11, 2001 in the United States of America that meant a breaking point in intensifying joint actions in this sphere.

„National Caveats“ and it’s impact on the Army of the Czech Republic
Abstract:
This article addresses one of the multinational (NATO) community’s more urgent problems. These are each NATO nation’s “national caveats”, which impose significant restrictions on NATO’s multinational operations. The article analyzes the potential “Command and Control’ (C2) problems caused by restrictive “national caveats”, and discusses recent operational problems which have occurred during multinational operations abroad - - particularly in the Balkans, Kosovo and Afghanistan. The article also comments on the status of “caveats” in the Czech military (ACR), and recommends that a more detailed analysis of national caveats be undertaken in order to better prepare ACR unit commanders for future NATO missions.

Možnosti využití operačně taktického systému velení a řízení pozemních sil v oblasti vzdělávání / Options in the Implementation of Command and Control Operational Tactical Systems for Ground Forces in the Sphere of Education
Abstract:
Today's computer systems are very complicated and variable. Current military systems, which are exploitation in operations, laying high exigencies on theirs usage and controlling. It along with high stress puts high title to individual and vocational profile of military professionals. Important are also requirements on possibility, acquirements and habit military professional pair with using and running this system. The architecture GF-TCCS is new since 2006. Some applications are new, better, faster and more simply for control. Some tools to support of education this system were creation in last year. These tools can very help to users, who GF-TCCS haven't yet. They learned to use this system earlier, than they'll have this system on his computers. Practice in foreign militaries argues unambiguously, that these tools considerably abbreviate time needed for planning and preparing battle. It makes possible significantly shorten decision-making process and magnify time on exercise.
