Rector’s Award for Scientific Contribution in 2010

Based on the University of Defence Scientific Board’s ballot done at its regular meeting on 9 February 2011, the rector and commandant of the University of Defence confers Rector’s Award for Scientific Contribution in 2010 to

• prof. Ing. Dalibor BIOLEK, CSc., an academic staff of the Electrical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Military Technology; and to
• doc. Ing. Kamil KUČA, Ph.D., an academic staff of the Advanced Studies Centre of the Faculty of Military Health Sciences

Rector’s Award for Scientific Contribution in 2009

Based on the University of Defence Scientific Board’s ballot done at its regular meeting on 24 February 2010, the rector and commandant of the University of Defence confers Rector’s Award for Scientific Contribution in 2009 to prof. MUDr. Roman PRYMULA, CSc., Ph.D. for significant research and development results in preventive medicine, infectious epidemiology and vaccinology.

Rector’s Award for Scientific Contribution in 2008

Based on the University of Defence Scientific Board’s ballot done at its regular meeting on 25 February 2009, the rector and commandant of the University of Defence confers Rector’s Award for Scientific Contribution in 2008 to prof. RNDr. Aleš MACELA, DrSc. (Advanced Studies Centre of the Faculty of Military Health Sciences) for significant research and development results in 2008 in research leadership, publications, development of a new doctoral degree programme of Infectious Biology and for his contributions to research plans and defence research projects.
