Born on 17 November 1959 in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic, married, 2 children. Having graduated from the Vyškov college – military economy – combined arms rear support, he was appointed logistic officer positions of battalion, regiment, school brigade and Chief Logistic Officer of the Vyškov Military Academy. .Before the University of Defence he worked for one year in the position of Logistic and Medical Support Department Chief Officer of the Training and Doctrine Directorate, Vyškov. In 2002 he graduated from brigade staff course of operation level logistic support management in Brno and an English course STANAG 2 at M.L.S. Bournemouth, UK. He participated in the international exercises of COOPERATIVE CHALLENGE in 1995 and COOPERATIVE GUARD in 1999 in the position of real chief logistic officer. His hobbies include dance, sport and gardening.
