The University of Defence welcomed a distinguished guest on Thursday 5 January 2012. Short after his induction to the office of the India Ambassador to the Czech Republic, His Excellency Shri Venkatesan Ashok arrived for an official visit, escorted by Indian Defence Attaché Colonel Gurpreet Singh.

During their an hour long visit the guests were greeted by the University of Defence representatives headed by the University Rector, professor Rudolf Urban. They were briefed of the school mission, structure and provided education courses. A particular interest was paid to the collaboration in the courses for Indian armed forces staff, especially in CBRN field in the English language. 

His Excellency Shri Venkatesan Ashok concluded the visit by signing University’s VIP guest book.
