ambassador to the
Czech Republic, representing Indian
Defence Research and Development Organisation visited the University of Defence
on 24 June 2011 as a part of the official contacts held between
the Czech and Indian Republics.
courtesy or randomness, the visit
resumed the activities done by the University of Defence in previous
years as isolated training course projects for the Indian ground forces. Particularly
the CBRN special course met quite positive response.
The Friday
visit focused on
briefing the top Indian researchers and developers on the situation in defence
research and development at and activities by the Faculty of Military
Technology including the research and development projects the faculty has been contributing to. The guests found some of the presented projects attractive and expressed their
interest in a closer collaboration, particularly in the fields of passive LPA systems
or the above-mentioned CBRN defence, in the forms of
learning and teaching as well as joint research projects.
The parties
closed the almost two-hour working meeting with an accord of continuing in
establishing collaboration through submitted actual proposals via official
cha
nnels.
