Curriculum vitae:
He was born on the 22nd of October 1960 in Šumperk, Czech Republic. He attended a primary school in Zábřeh and finished this school in 1975. Then he went to study a Military secondary school in Valašské Meziříčí. During that time he was studying the chemical technology branch and he was preparing on military career. After his leaving examination in 1979 he began to study the Military University of Ground Forces in Vyškov. He graduated from the university in 1983.
After the graduation from the Military University he worked as a commander of a platoon. He was performing this appointment for two years and then he went out to the Department of the chemical troop as a junior lecturer. He step by step performs appointments as a junior lecturer, further as a senior teacher, a leader of group and as a deputy chief of the chemical corps department and finally as a deputy director of the University of Defence NBC Defence Institute. Nowadays, he occupies a position of a director of the University of Defence NBC Defence Institute.
He started his doctorate in 1990 and the doctorate thesis he successfully defended in the “Weapons of mass destruction and protection against them” branch, the programs “Weapons and protection against them in 1994. He defended his associate professor thesis in 2004 and he was appointed as an associate professor at the Military University of Ground Forces in the “Weapons of mass destruction and the Harmful Substances protection against them” branch, “Forces and Population Protection” programs. His education and research specialization are focused on branch related to the detection of the chemical warfare agents and the decontamination.
He is a member of Czech Chemical Institution, a member of Toxicology branch executive of Military Health Faculty of University of Defence and a scientific convocation chairman of NBC Defence Institute.
He is married and he is a father of one child. His family lives in Vyškov.
