In the newly accredited study program Military Technology the Department of Aerospace Electrical Systems offers study branch for bachelor's and master's degree studies named Aircraft Electrical Systems. It is a successor of the previous study branch named Avionic systems. The bachelor study takes 3 years and is divided into 4 modules, which differ in 300 hours of study, that profiling the module and thus the specialization of the graduate. Subsequent master study takes two years more and is divided into two modules.
The department is one of the guarantors of the doctoral program. In the program of Military technology the department guarantees doctoral study branch Electronic systems and devices. For this study branch the department offers a total of eight subjects. A study in the Ph.D. programs in that branch is also interesting for civilian sector.
Lecturers of the department lecture series of subjects in lifelong learning courses. Many of the courses is also provided and managed by the department. Since the course participants are practitioners, this is ensure a contact of the department with areas where our graduates will work in a future, and allow us to flexibly respond to the needs of practice.
Common part the educational process is a leadership of bachelor, diploma and Ph.D. thesis by lecturers of the department and cooperation with other universities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Lecturers also participate in committees for the state examination and the state doctoral examination at other universities.
Cooperation with colleagues abroad also includes participation in the ERASMUS program.
