The Department of Aerospace Electrical Systems is historically dislocated on many of places. Individual expert groups have a lot of classrooms and laboratories with a relatively good instrumentation (equipment).
The Group of Aerospace Electrical and Special and armament systems
Classrooms:
| Location | Capacity | Equipments |
|---|
| B1/221, KČP | 10 | Projector, PC for teachers, 5 PC for students |
| B1/224, KČP | 26 | Projector, PC for teachers |
KČP - Barracks Černá Pole Labs: Aircraft electrical equipment, B1/208, KČPLaboratory contains components and blocks of aircraft electrical equipment which serve as an example and for measuring of system parameters of electrical equipment during laboratory practise.
Automatic flight control systems, B1/220, KČPThe laboratory is equipped with blocks and instruments for automatic flight control and longitudinal and lateral oscillation dumping, which serve for demonstration and measurement of autopilot parameters.
Aircraft instruments, B1/223 KČPThe laboratory is equipped with aircraft instruments and its components for the teach-in and exhibition during education; with monitoring and measuring devices intended for the parameters measuring of the aircraft instruments.
Group of Radioelectronics Systems
Classrooms:
| Location | Capacity | Equipments |
|---|
| B11/SPU1, KČP | 10 | Projector, PC for teachers, 5 PC for students |
KČP - Barracks Černá Pole Labs: Radio navigation aids, B11/SPU-2, KČPLaboratory equipment consists of several GPS receivers used by the Czech Air Force, then a combined GPS / GLONASS laboratory receiver with PC evaluation software. Besides the GNSS receivers, there are an airborne VOR/ILS/MB navigation receiver, a DME interrogator, a radio compass, and a radio altimeter at present. Live signals are fed into the lab from a 10 meter high platform equipped with several different antennas. Thanks to that, students have an opportunity to measure and analyze radio navigation aids in real air traffic.
Communication Systems Laboratory, B11/SPU3, KČPStudents can do the tests and measurements with communication radios used onboard of the Czech Air Force aircrafts. Besides, the laboratory is equipped with the development kits of modern FPGA devices and DSP processors to support the digital signal processing courses. Both of the laboratories SPU2 and SPU3 contain high-quality analog and digital measurement equipment including the automatic measurement systems.
Group of Air Navigation Systems
Classrooms:
| Location | Capacity | Equipments |
|---|
| B1/109, KČP | 14 | Projector, PC for teachers, control panel for TTC2000 |
KČP - Barracks Černá Pole Labs: Air Traffic Control Laboratory I - B1/108, KČPThe Air Traffic Control laboratory imitates the workplace of ATC hall as the real airport ATC tower. Laboratory includes work of Aerodrome Control Service and Approach Control Service. The laboratory is equipped with tables that contain authentic electronic display systems for Air Traffic Controller, Assistant of Air Traffic Controller, Radar Controller and Radar Approach Controller
Air Traffic Control Laboratory II - B1/107, KČPSecond Air Traffic Control laboratory imitates the workplaces of technique of airport surveillance radar, systems engineer and supervisory of Air Navigation Services with complete technological equipment of all over the airport air traffic services. The major technological units are consist of the following systems: system for monitoring and controlling AMS-1, system for radar control and procedural control LETVIS, center for radar control RADARCENTRUM and voice communication FREQUENTIS a TTC 2000.
Simulation and diagnostics laboratory – B1/106, KČPSimulation and diagnostics laboratory is used for teaching operating systems Windows, Unix and Linux. Teaching of computer networks and software for all airport facilities by air traffic services is also done at this laboratory.
Laboratoř leteckých komunikačních systémů B1/207, KČPLaboratoř leteckých komunikačních systémů obsahuje nezbytné měřící vybavení pro měření základních parametrů leteckých rádiových stanic.
