Military Medical Science Letters (Vojenske Zdravotnicke Listy) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles in the form of Articles and Brief Communications as well as Review Articles, Case Reports, Minireviews, Book Reviews and Letters to the Editor.

Submission: Only original papers written in English are considered and should be submitted in the electronic form to: Kamil Kuča; Editor-in-chief; vzl@pmfhk.cz.

Conditions: Only manuscripts written according to Guidelines for Authors will be considered and will be subject to editorial review. The manuscript must be accompanied by a cover letter stating that all authors have seen and given their approval for submission of the manuscript to be considered for publication in Military Medical Science Letters (Vojenske Zdravotnicke Listy). Also statement that manuscript is not submitted elsewhere or have not already been published elsewhere should be added. Authors should provide the names and contact information for three possible reviewers.

Arrangement of the manuscript

• Title page: The first page should consist of the title, the authors’ names, the affiliation, and a running title. Corresponding author´s full address, phone, fax and email should be added.
• Key words: A list of 3–10 key words is needed.
• Abstract: The abstract should not exceed 250 words, and any abbreviations must be explained.
• Tables and illustrations: Tables and illustrations should be numbered in Arabic numerous. They should be prepared on separate sheets. For the reproduction of illustrations, only high resolution figures will be accepted. Only black and white illustrations are reproduced in printed form. Color illustrations can be reproduced free of charge in pdf form.
• References should be identified in the text using Arabic numerous in square brackets. The list of references should include only those publications cited in the text.

• Abbreviations: Abbreviation should be defined in the text the first time it is used.
• Proofs: Proofs are sent to the corresponding author and should be returned within three days.
• Reprints: Pdf version of the article is sent to the corresponding author for free.
