Our department participates in pedagogical and educational activities in accordance with the study field Military Management which is the part of the study program Economics and Management.

It guarantees education in the following subjects:

• Management,
• Security policy of the Army of the Czech Republic,
• Art of operation,
• Control theory of military operations,
• Military management,
• General tactics,
• Tactics of units and organization,
• Theory of military education and training,
• Military vehicles and weapon systems,
• Communication and information systems,
• Military protection,
• Intelligence and foreign armies,
• Military topography and navigation systems,
• Military geography.

Pedagogical Orientation:

            In agreement with new requirements on military professionals the department prepares mainly future commanders of the Czech Army units. It guarantees and realizes education in full-time and part-time forms of study in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees within the Economics and Management study programme in the Military Management study branch which guarantees study modules:

• Mechanized and Tank Units Commander,
• Reconnaissance Units Commander,
• Combined-Arms Commander.

            It also takes part in teaching other, mostly study modules appointed for future commanders of the Army of the Czech Republic, further in teaching the State Defence Economics study branch and Military Technologies in the Forces and Population Protection doctoral study programme.
