This department guarantees “Human Resources Management Economy” accredited study module within National Defence Economy field of Economics and Management Bachelor’s and Master’s degree studies for both in-site and combined modes. Students get a comprehensive set of information aimed at organisational and institutional aspects of human resources management in companies and government or local authority bodies, specifically for military and civilian personnel management under Ministry of Defence responsibility.

 

In classes the students get in details acquainted with the methods and procedures of personnel planning, recruitment and selection of employees, labour performance control, work motivation and stimulation, employee qualification improvement, work assessment and job analysis, employee assessment and rewarding and salary system production, quality management systems introduction, personnel audit and controlling and possible utilisation of personnel decision-making processes and actions information support.

 

The graduates from this module may apply for job in both within military forces and in civilian sector as qualified economists, capable in human resources management and development. Military personnel can be placed in the position of personnel officer at battalion level of job advisor at regional commands.

 

In addition, the department teaches other subjects for the Faculty of Economics and Management and for the Faculty of Military Technology to provide students – military officers to be – background in law, social science, history, political science and leadership.
