Specific Orientation:

The topics of managing engineers´ support of armed forces activities and fulfilling engineers´ support tasks are the main areas of the department’s activities. Within the department’s scope, it develops the topic of using the capacity and means of engineer corps of the Army of the Czech Republic in all operations carried out on the territory of the Czech Republic and outside this territory and it takes part in the information systems development process  within engineer corps. The development of technologies usable within combat and general engineer support, mainly while fulfilling engineer measures in the armed forces protection and blasting operation tasks, is not of the lower importance. The department is also involved in the normative acts processing to the benefit of the Czech Army Engineer Corps and provides review, opponent and expert activities for these institutions or other Czech Army entities and organizations outside the departments of the MoD.
