Faculty of Economics and Management Students’ Erasmus Experiences
Using financial support from lifelong learning programme Erasmus, the Faculty of Economics and Management sent four students to European universities in summer semester of the academic year 2011/2012. Three of them are military students and one of them is civilian student. Military students took an opportunity to study at military universities - „The General Tadeusz Kosciuszko Military Academy of Land Forces“ in Poland, „The General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania“ in Lithuania and „Academy of Security Science“ in Estonia. |

The International Military Conference TACTICS 2012 in Preparation
In line with the major tasks and measures of the Faculty of Economics and Management, is Department of Military Management and Tactics preparing international military conference "TACTICS 2012" on "Task Forces Tactical Activities within the Future Operations and Theirs Combat and Combat Service Support". Erasmus Students´ Increasing Interest to Study at the UoD
Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of For more than a month the next group of 26 Erasmus students is hosted at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Defence in Brno. There are students from Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden and Turkey who came to study to the Czech Republic within the cooperation between the European universities.

Faculty of Economics and Management is Hosting 27 Erasmus Students in the Summer Semestr
Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Defence welcomed group of foreign students on Monday February 20th, 2012. The students will spend the summer semester at the University of Defence as the students of the Erasmus program. The group includes students from Bulgaria (3), Poland (9), Slovakia (4) and Turkey (4). During beginning of March the group of Erasmus students will extend by five students from Romania and two from Sweden.

On Saturday 10th December 2011 two students from the University of Defence together with Erasmus students from the Faculty of economics and management visited Prague. The program of trip was to visit some of the greatest sights of the Czech capital city.

On Monday, 3 October 2011 Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Defence welcomed the new foreign students, who will study under the Erasmus program in the upcoming winter semester. Extension of the study offer provided in English language resulted in an increased interest of foreign students. |

A new issue of journal "Economics and Management" has been published
The new issue of the journal “Ekonomika a management” (“Economics and Management”) was published on 31th August 2011. The journal, which has been published periodically since 2007, provides opportunity for presenting and exchanging the latest professional knowledge in the area of State Defence Economics and Military Management and contributes to the achievement and enhancement of the operational capabilities of professional army.

Březina 2011 Multinational Military Exercise
University of Defence holds a multinational military exercise named Brezina 2011 on 18 to 23 April 2011. The trainees for the exercise shall consist of the students coming for the Faculty of Economics and Management on the Czech University of Defence side and the Officer School of Maribor, Slovenia.
